If you're looking for a forum for community support from other mothers or moms to be, you are better off asking a random toll booth worker than going to this mother's forum site. It's full of know-it-all women that have had kids and feel like they're the authority on all things mother... with kind and helpful souls peppered in between. It's mostly a sounding board for bored petty stay at home mothers that have nothing else better to do (though they could be somewhere offline seeing about their child) and would rather troll boards looking for new moms to harass. It's an awful, unregulated by Baby Center Community board leaders and is a chicken coop at best. Save your time. Talk to yourself in the mirror or ask Siri, at least she might be polite.

If your looking to be ganged up on, patronised and bullied then go ahead join this site. It's full of pathetic mums who have nothing better to do with their days other than make people feel small. Online older uglier version of mean girls. Admin staff on a ridiculous power trip.

Great site if you'd like general information on pregnancy through helpful articles. Terrible place to get support. I'm truly saddened by the treatment most members have toward new mothers seeking advice. Very disrespectful and insensitive women on the family boards. My sympathy goes out to all of the woman who have been bullied, judged, and mistreated on that site. Baby Center does nothing to moderate or stop it which is incredibly unprofessional.

The site is full of ladies who have no real desire to offer shared experiences in a nice way. Ask a legitimate question and they answer like vultures. Mean spirited moms club is what it should be called.

This website is the worst! They have "Debate club" where bunch of regulars post and use direct insults or passive aggressive tone to berate others. The moderators don't respond to reports of those comments because the regulars post them and plus moderators enjoy bullying. It is sad. Don't even join this community, the group owners have zero regards to human decency - they will trash you and tell you that you are in the wrong. They are some miserable people. Only losers with no friends spend so much time arguing with strangers, they hate theirs lives and take it out on innocent newcomers. It is sad that "grown" women express such immature and un-motherly behavior. I am scared what they teach their kids, who will mostly likely end up in prisons. The cyber bullying like it happens there is illegal and I am surprised how that website is still running!

I just got flagged and shutdown for disagreeing with the far left mob mentality that seems to run rampant on the site. The mob of clique like catty women then proceeded to call me vulgar names while also accusing me of being racist even though they were the ones throwing around actual racial slurs. There were a couple of moderators and group owners who were also involved in the mentality and totally went against BBC guidelines to flag and delete comments from members just because they didn't agree with them. It's beyond ridiculous that these people are able to get away with ruining what could be a great place for pregnancy/child information.

A cesspool of unpleasant, unhappy, bored women who take pleasure in drama and cutting others down. Many of these women live on the internet. I honestly don't understand how they work or pay attention to their family given the devotion to this site. Really took a dive into extreme leftism in 2016 and dug the whole deeper in 2020 during the pandemic. No outside opinions that divert from the leftist narratives and agendas are welcome and you will be ganged up on for expressing them. If you value debate, freedom of speech, common sense, tolerance, and compassion this site is NOT for you.

This site creates and encourage a hostile environment not good for mothers. I would also highly suggest never placing your or your child's photos as they have a track record of keeping them locked on the site. Even after talking to staff. It is really one of the worst places online any of the other Mom sites are better. Sorry for everyone's terrible experiences.

A bunch of the entertaining regular posters recently got banned for having the audacity to openly disagree with leftist nonsense. Now the forums are nothing but immoral troglodytes and weak minded women.

Received an email from babycenter.com with a link for some free baby items. I followed all the steps outlined and did provided some personal contact information as it was required. Turned out to be a complete scam - not only did I not receive the free items I was told I would, my phone has not stopped being blown up by scam artists looking for more. I expected babycenter.com to be a legitimate company, but try and call them - it's all recordings, no humans, and if not perpetrators of outright fraud themselves, then definitely in partnership with fraudulent enterprises, nor do they have the decency or professionalism to follow up on communication. Could not advise more strongly to simply stay away from this site. Extremely disappointed.

This website is so toxic and cancerous. Full of triggered women, lots of bullies, and these bitter women are pathetic man-haters! I saw triggered females saying mean things about another woman's husband because God forbid he didn't want to be in the delivery room with her. Are these your goals in life, BabyCenter ladies? To sit around and complain about men for simply not entering a room? Please, for haven's sake, stay away from this garbage website! It was so intense, it actually made me cry! How can people be so narrow-minded and malicious? I've seen posts where women BRAG about abusing their husbands! This website is trash. Man-hating trash. Stay away! Radioactivity detected!

Horrible experience.
I tried to take part in the community and it was awful. In a world where we worry about kids being cyber bullied we should really check out the 30 something year olds who spend too much time on the internet! Baby center does absolutely nothing to moderate any part of this community. The way that the women talk to each other is horrifying. Join if you like being abused, mocked, and treated like your opinions are invalid.

I use to just use babycenter to check milestones and read articles but then I decided j wanted to get involved maybe comment on posts make some mom friends... well BIG MISTAKE. I repeatedly got bullied and harassed for my opinion. These moms are ruthless rude women who either like being bullies or have nothing better to do in life. It was really disappointing meeting so many hateful people on a site I thought I could enjoy. I will stick to reading articles and checking milestones for now on.

Its a shame that these support groups are formed. Its nothing more than a group of catty women who cut each other down. They single out a random person and go in for the kill. Its like watching a pack of hyenas. Disgusting. Typical middle school drama. There should be a mental evaluation on these women before they can offer advice. They all act like experts or medical doctors. Closing my account immediately

I am amazed at how mean spirited people are when they have the internet to hide behind... I made my first and last post today, and then removed myself from the group because of the responses I got. Very few posters want to help you, the rest just want to tear you down. What did make me feel better was realizing how much time these "women" have to spend on the stupid birth board in order to make the number of comments that they make. I'm pretty sure they all have borderline personality disorder and I'm just glad my life is better than theirs. :) oh and I agree that the group owners responsible for "monitoring" the boards are some of the worst bullies there! Peace out August 2014...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a first
Time mom and joined the group discussions in hopes of getting good solid advice but instead found a bunch of "grown women" starting arguments, posting rude comments, and being downright hateful. The worst part is they have Group Owners who are supposed to stop all of this but are so biased and opinionated themselves that it makes the entire site unprofessional. I am highly disappointed.

Horrible place if you need support. I'm pregnant and was feeling down, needed some advise, support, what a terrible mistake I made posting on this board, most ladies are vicious, judgemental. Why would you be so cruel to someone who is already down and in need.

It's a place where grown up bullies thrive. I'll give you couple examples! 1. You will get attacked with sarcasm and "you're dumb" if you ever ask something that seems like you should "obviously" know. 2. You can't respond to the actual posts. You must first read all the responses and even if the subject has changed and the conversation is about something else by others, you have to respond to that instead. 3. People who maintain those groups are usually bullies too and will side with bullies and act childish and try to make you the bad guy.
This website is a joke website and it has way too much false info. In fact, only bullies opinions count and some how they get all the support. Just beware! It's one of the worst websites to be on and more so if you're actually pregnant! I would suggest you stay away if you're a logical human being with feelings! It used to be very different!

This site is for any mom who thinks they're perfect. Seriously had it for two weeks and got shot down left and right. All I wanted was a little advice and I left feeling depressed. These ladies all think they have every answer when in reality, they have no clue. Being a perfect mom is not sitting online all day bashing women who come for help. There are a few decent ones on there, but the crazies really stand out.

THE site for the most pregnancy information. Highly recommended. I have had good experiences, personally. Information on your newborn to 9-year-old. Wonderful! So much info from Car seats to Terrible Two's. Supportive community.

This website has provided with me friendship, advice, support and love. I would have gone mad without it! It is one of those places were you get out of the site what you put into it, if you try to help and be friendly to other people, they will do the same with you. Highly recommended.

The entire community seems to be filled with the "Karens". Very entitled and judgemental. Unwelcoming atmosphere, including the moderators and group creators. All of the other reviews are very right. Any opinion or statement that strays away from the hive mind on that site and you get eaten alive. I've tried at least three separate times with the site, being sweeter each time and still getting snarky comments. Definitely not the place to go for a supportive community, ESPECIALLY for relationship advice as I see everyone just telling these women to leave their men and become single mothers over stupid things like him yelling at her once. The website itself is fantastic and it can't help its community but for some reason all of the toxic Karens that are middle-aged and miserable and must feel above people some way.
